Mediatization of the Youth

1. Media- a channel through which the message transmitted, also a form of perspective, ideology, lifestyle and a “way of life”.
This our time now was called “Multimedia Age” because of the different modern technology of our time which a big help for the improvements of one society. There are forms of media which specify and regroup according to their function. The following are:
v Print
v Broadcast /electronic
v Group
v Folk/traditional
v Non-media
Print-is a printed matter with collective character
Example: Newspaper, books, magazines
Broadcast or electronic-is to send or transmit music, newscast, etc. by radio and television.
Another example: Internet, cellular phone
Group or visual media-this is the material which help to visualizes and present the media clearly.
Example: slides, video, banners, stickers
Folk/traditional media-this is the practices that we usually do if there is the present of media or not.
Example: story telling, songs, rituals, dance
Non-media communication-this is the practice that we directly communicate to other
Example: face to face, public meeting
2. a. Computer technology has a big impact in media because through this it transmitted communication especially in other world through what we call broadband. Another is, it give lot information about everything that we want through research with the internet. The last thing is, it shapes to certain extent the values and behavior of a student or people.
b. Media affects education by making our communication easier and faster. For ex. In a blogspot.com, through this address, the teacher can use it in checking assignments if she’s far away. In this case, it is convenience in spreading information because of the high-tech material use.
c. Technology is powerful of today in terms of media & education by the things of what it can do to us in spreading information and by making our work faster and easier in terms of what we can do.
3. As what I’ve seen from the movie with the title of the painting “Hapag ng Pag-asa” by Joey Velasco, I feel hopeless to the children who are involved in those situations in their early life. In terms of education, they are poor because some are not even gone to school because of their poor status. Some parents are irresponsible for giving them education by abandoned their children. The parents should think first the future of their siblings in order that they will not cross the wrong way. They should be responsible because our youth is the hope of our nation today.

5. Iba’t ibang uri ng diin	Slide presentation	Malaman ang gamit ng bawat uri at ang tamang bigkas ng mga salita.
